How it works

How Leakly audits a website.

A fixed pipeline that runs the same way every time. Every finding has to survive validation before it reaches your report.

The pipeline

Six steps, in the same order, on every run. That is why an unchanged site gets the same score twice, and why a fix shows up the next time you run it.

Discover

Find the pages that matter for your goal: entry, pricing, signup, checkout.

sitemap + links · 5 pages

Crawl

Load each page in a real browser, on desktop and on a mid-range phone.

1440 px · 390 px

Understand

Classify every page and its role in the decision the visitor is making.

pricing · role: compare

Detect

Run 32 published rules across copy, UX, UI, funnel, trust and performance.

41 candidates

Validate

Check every quote and element against the page. No proof, no finding.

24 rejected or merged

Report

Compute the score, rank by impact and pin each leak on the screenshot.

17 findings · score 54

Confidence

Confidence comes from the evidence. Each detector family has a ceiling. A measurement outranks a visual judgement, which outranks a reading of copy.

Deterministic

Structural facts counted on the page, like missing labels or hidden CTAs.

0.96

Cross-page

Promises on one page checked against the page they lead to.

0.90

Semantic

Copy read for outcome, audience and objections, quoted word for word.

0.80

Visual

Hierarchy, contrast and fold, shown as regions on the screenshot.

0.78

Performance

LCP, CLS, TTFB and failing scripts, measured on the pages of your conversion path.

Validation

Quotes must be found on the page and elements must resolve, or the finding is dropped.

Methodology

How the Conversion Score is computed. No language model decides your number. It is calculated from the findings, the same way every time.

FIG 0.1

Findings, not opinions.

Each page is captured as a screenshot, its markup, its copy and its metrics. Only findings that cite one of them are scored.

FIG 0.2

Fixed weights.

Severity, confidence and reach set each leak's weight. The weights never change between runs, so the score only moves when your site does.

FIG 0.3

Excluded, never assumed.

If a page times out or a category can't be checked, it is left out of the score and listed, instead of being counted as perfect.

Guardrails

What Leakly never does. The rules that keep the report worth trusting.

  • No finding without evidence it can show
  • No score from a language model: it is computed
  • No category scored 100 when it could not be assessed
  • No real-behaviour claims until analytics is connected

Proof attached

Pinned to the pixel.

Each leak points to an element on a real screenshot.

Quoted word for word.

Copy findings cite the exact text on your page.

Measured against a limit.

Speed and layout checks show the number and the threshold.

Dropped if unproven.

A finding without evidence never reaches your report.

Same site, same score.

The score is computed, so reruns never drift.

32 rules. Public. Versioned. Every finding links to the rule behind it, with the proof it requires and the fix that closes it.

FAQ

hello@leakly.ai↗

Why do two audits give the same score?

The score is calculated from the findings with fixed weights, so an unchanged site returns the same number.

How long does an audit take?

About a minute for the first results. Larger sites keep crawling in the background while you read.

What happens if a page times out?

It costs that page, not the run. The page is listed as not analysed, with the reason.

What does “not assessed” mean?

A category could not be evaluated in this run. It is excluded from the score instead of counted as perfect.

Does Leakly need access to my site?

No. It reads public pages the way a visitor does. Nothing to install, no login needed.

See the pipeline run on your own site.

Paste your URL. Leakly opens it like a first-time visitor and shows you what to fix first.
